Typically a lot of work goes into your resume. The last thing you need is to be let down by simple errors or oversights. The following checklist should help ensure your hard work gets you the job you want. Personal DetailsMake sure they are all there and that they are all correct. Include your name, address, e-mail address, and telephone numbers(which ever an employer is most likely to be able to get you on).Employment ObjectiveState the type of work or specific job you are seeking. It goes without saying that you should be seeking employment in a position such as that you are applying for.EducationInclude school name and address, dates of attendance, major, and highest year completed or degree awarded. Consider including any courses or areas of focus that might be relevant to the position including trade tickets and vendor accreditations.ExperienceInclude paid and non-paid(volunteer) work. For each job, include the job title, name and location of employer, and dates of employment. Briefly describe your job duties.Special skillsComputer skills, proficiency in foreign languages, achievements, and membership in organizations.ReferencesOnly when requested.Keep it shortOnly one page for less experienced applicants.Avoid Long Paragraphs & Don't Ramble OnMake sure you keep to the point highlighting achievements.
